Comfort + Value + Location
My small single room with ensuite was perfectly sized and appointed for a single traveling overnight. Comfortable, quiet, convenient, solid breakfast within easy walking distance from the train station with a backpack or shoulder duffel bag. If you\'re looking for a safe, convenient, comfortable, friendly place to sleep at night after spending a day walking the Salisbury plain or visiting churches and museums, I recommend St. Ann\'s House highly.. --great value.

Well Looked After
I came to Salisbury for a wedding and the joyous occasion was made even better by the welcome I got at St Ann’s. Prakash went the extra mile to make sure my room was ready and gave me a map with instructions on how to get to the venue.
The room was small but well designed, very clean and I felt very comfortable there.
I would recommend St Ann’s house to anyone visiting this historic city.

Good All Around
Good location for seeing Salisbury. About 2 blocks from the Cathedral and city centre, walkable from the train station if you don\'t have lots of luggage. Room was quiet, clean, well-lit, comfy (though a bit small and lacking an easy chair). Great breakfast. Nice staff. Overall good value for the money.

Excellent Hotel
An excellent b&b guest house close to the centre of Salisbury. The room was large enough with a very comfortable king-size bed. A radiator enables you to regulate your own room temperature, and the outside window opened for a blow-through. The bathroom had an excellent shower - as powerful as you would like. The washbasin\'s tap was too hot if set too high. The toilet has a soft-close seat. The breakfast was excellent as stated, with plenty of choice of bread, cereals, dried fruit and fruit salad. The scrambled egg was cooked perfectly. You can help yourself to tea and coffee, which is preferable. Although the check-in time is fairly late, it is possible to check in earlier. Our room faced the front, so some traffic noise during the day, but completely quiet at night.

Period Peaceful Rest
This period bed and breakfast is fantastic on many levels. It’s a stone’s throw from the city. It’s a gentle stroll round the corner from Churchill Gardens (that hold the local park run). It’s stylish and comfy.
It is straightforward to enter the property, given detailed instructions from the owners. Let yourself in and head to your room. Open the door a gasp at the beautiful period furniture. Marvel at the charming bathroom and look forward to a splendid, humbling cooked breakfast in the morning.

Old fashioned customer service as it should be. The room was spacious, well appointed and very comfortable & the location is spot on for exploring this beautiful cit, being only 5 mins walk to the centre. Would definitely visit again & recommend.

One slight let down & reason for docking a rating star was that the shower head could not be fixed in position due to a faulty bracket, so had to hold the head in your hand. That sort of thing should be checked and fixed as a priority, but as we only stayed one night, we didn’t make a fuss, had we stayed longer we would have complained about this issue.

Pleasant Stay
We stayed in the flat, which is very convenient for a family of 4. Perfectly located, near to the Cathedral and city centre. It was also offered us to use free parking near the place. The only improvement is related to the toilet, it was rather noisy with a recurring noise of something like a pump or flush... for the rest everything was excellent.

Excellent Little Guest House
I very much enjoyed my stay at St Ann’s. My room was very attractively furnished and in keeping with the age and character of the building. There were lots of very nice touches including the fudge packet on the pillow and the excellent range of teas in the room. The breakfast was also excellent with plenty of choice on the buffet table and a lovely, freshly cooked breakfast using quality ingredients. My only quibble would be the strength of the shower but this in no way spoilt the enjoyment of my stay. The location of the guest house was also ideal. Just a short walk to the end of the street and you are going through the gate to the Cathedral close where most of the town’s attractions are. And the coaches for Stonehenge and Old Sarum are just around the corner.

Very Good Value
Room was very good. Single en-suite with comfy bed, nice shower, attractively decorated and not too small. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast very well and efficiently run. Good hot coffee, great fruit salad, I\'m told the English breakfast very good too. The only small niggle was the check-in seemed a bit ad hoc. I felt I had to rush to get there (train was late but I was stil there before 6pm) and I felt the instructions on when you can actually check in are not clear. They do make clear that it is not a 24 hour check in, but that is not helpful if you are running late/train delayed etc and not sure exactly when someone will be there to let you in. Please note if you are on the 2nd floor, no-one offers to help you with your baggage upstairs so be sure to check where your room is if you would struggle getting things up 2 steepish flights of stairs.

Lovely Place, Great Breakfast!
I was travelling to Salisbury on business and staying the one night, so I can only speak for my short stay experience.

On the whole the B&B is very good value for money, nice rooms and general environment, with a great selection of breakfast choice.

My only criticism would be the overall cleanliness, the bed linen had marks and stains, but did smell clean, the crockery at breakfast had salty dishwasher marks and residue, which added an interesting taste to my tea. This said, I would definitely recommend a stay at this B&B.

Wonderful Place To Stay
I stayed several days at this lovely guesthouse. The breakfasts were really good with a very pleasant, well-spaced area to enjoy them. Everything was well-managed and ran like clockwork. My room was very nice indeed with lots of thoughtful touches, an excellent shower and one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. I could see the cathedral spire in the distance. The owners offered a warm welcome. They and all the other staff were in fact superb. I was down for a family funeral and they were so pleasant whilst not being intrusive. This would be a marvellous base for a holiday also. Hospitality and accommodation that could not be faulted, a beautiful, historic, cathedral city and lots to explore slightly further afield.Thank you very much Lebo and also everybody else too.

Impromptu Overnight Stay
We were really lucky to stay here. Snow & ice made driving home late after seeing The Beat seem unwise. So at the last minute realised b&b would allow us a carefree time. Dave recommended a few places to eat & we chose the R’ai d’Or Thai restaurant which was both friendly & good food. They’ve got a bar there too. The b&b is walking distance from everything in town and I just couldn’t fault it. Lovely ensuite room and great breakfast. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Excellent Choice For A Stay In Salisbury
St Ann\'s House was recommended by a friend and I booked t for a one night stay. It was excellent from the friendly welcome, lovely warm room, nice touchy with the fudge (my husband went off and bought some) and the en-suite was functional and had everything you required. The breakfast was lovely and very tasty - the local sourcing of products could be tasted. We left our car with friends in The Close so I am unsure if you have parking but the short walk to town took no time. We will certainly use St Ann\'s again when we come to see friends and family.

We had a lovely night\'s stay at St Ann\'s House. The beds were comfortable, facilities great and the thoughtful touches appreciated. (Nice big towels, quality complimentary toiletries, tea and coffee making equipment- even hot chocolate!)
We also enjoyed a lovely breakfast that catered for any taste, dietary requirement or level of hunger.

Would Recommend.
St Ann Street is a lovely street full of beautiful buildings, not far from the cathedral. I was given a double room to myself even though I\'d booked a single, which I appreciated. It was clean and quiet and I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast every morning - and the complimentary bag of fudge in the room. Thank you very much to the owners - I\'d happily stay at St Anns House again if I went back to Salisbury. There\'s a lot to do in and around the city and I particularly enjoyed Wilton House, Old Sarum and the Boscombe Down Aviation Collection.

Special Stay For A Special Birthday....
St Anns House is rather a special B&B, right in the centre of Salisbury, 5 mins walk from the spectacular Cathedral. It\'s in a beautiful old house in a beautiful old street - our room was very comfortable, furnished in an old-fashioned quirky style which we loved. We were in Salisbury for my partner\'s 50th birthday and David (the owner) could not have been more welcoming or helpful - though I was actually welcomed by David\'s lovely daughter who could have a great future in the hotel business! From recommending places to eat to directing us to the airfield where my other half was doing his birthday parachute jump to finding us cheap parking - we were met with friendly helpfulness which made our stay! Breakfast was delicious - and they even signed a card for my partner and gave us a bottle of Prosecco!! Thank you for a lovely few days and we would definitely stay again.

Great Little Guest House
A charming little hotel, full of charm and history and well located on the edge of the city, close to the cathedral. The room was lovely, clean, and with a comfy bed. The staff were friendly and helpful, with a little gift (some fudge) which was a nice touch. The breakfast was delicious and the service good. We requested an earlier book in, as we had a wedding to attend, and this was no problem

Comfortable And Convenient
We stayed for three nights in March 2017, with our dog (Westie). The room and breakfast were excellent with a large choice of items including healthy options (cereal, dried fruit, fruit salad). The location was very central (ten minutes walk from the cathedral) away from busy streets. The staff were very kind and helpful and suggested a local walk which we thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommended.

Wonderful Hospitality
I stayed for 2 nights at St. Ann\'s House and was greeted with a very warm welcome.

My single room was exceptionally clean and comfortable.

Breakfast offered a wide choice of cereals and a traditional cooked meal, using mostly locally sourced produce.

The owners had exvellent local knowledge, which was perfect for me as I was searching for long-term accommodation in preparation for my forthcoming relocation.

I would definitely recommend St. Ann\'s as a comfortable and pleasant place to stay when visiting Salisbury.

My other half and I had the most wonderful weekend on glorious Salisbury. St. Anns\'s was perfect for our needs and very comfortable. It is located in a convenient part of the city and only a short walk down beautiful streets to the Cathedral and city centre. The staff were most kind, accommodating and extremely helpful. A very reasonable price for the room which had everything you needed with charming antique decor. The Georgian building retains some lovely features, the sash windows in particular were gorgeous. A huge thank you to Kim who could not have been kinder with allowing me to check in early due to very heavy luggage. I\'m so very grateful and we enjoyed our stay immensely. Highly recommended to anyone, I will be back if I ever stay over in Salisbury again! Many thanks!

We really enjoyed our two nights at St Ann\'s House in Salisbury. We got the very last room, so there was only a twin room available. However, we mentioned it was our anniversary, and the owners moved the beds together for us. Mike was very friendly and helpful upon arrival, and he gave us great restaurant recommendations. The room was clean, comfortable, and with all modern amenities. The coffee and water bottle in the room were greatly appreciated :) And as everyone has mentioned, breakfast is fabulous!! It\'s best to let Michael know your planned arrival time as he may be out in the afternoon. I hadn\'t forewarned him, but after a quick phone call, he was back in under 10 mins to let me in. My room was a single but comfortable and I had a good night\'s rest after a long walking tour of the Stonehenge Landscape. The breakfast menu is very extensive and I filled up on fruit and yoghurt, full English, toast and tea. All really well cooked. St Ann\'s is in a quiet road close to the Cathedral and is 15 mins walk from the Market Place. I would go there again, definitely.

Michael then gave me a map and told me all the different things to do and gave several excellent recommendations for restaurants nearby. He was always avaliable and happy to answer any questions or provide recommendations. The room was big and clean, comfortable bed, etc. The wifi worked okay but the signal wasn\'t too strong, and that\'s the worst thing I can say about my stay.
